MUMBAI — The Indian Society of Human Genetics (ISHG) has officially announced its 51st Annual Meeting and International Conference, scheduled to take place from February 2 to February 4, 2027. The premier academic event will be hosted at the state-of-the-art CIDCO Convention Centre in Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
Theme and Focus
The conference has been officially themed “Human Genomics to Precision Medicine”. The scientific program aims to highlight the rapid transition from conventional cytogenetics to advanced multi-omics, next-generation sequencing, single-cell analysis, and transcriptomics. Discussions will focus heavily on translating genomic breakthroughs into affordable diagnostics and therapies for rare genetic disorders, hemoglobinopathies, and cancer genomics.

The prestigious gathering is being organized by the ICMR – National Institute for Research on Blood and Immune Disorders (NIRBID)(formerly ICMR-NIIH), Mumbai, an institute of national importance operating under the Indian Council of Medical Research.
